Howl of Slytherin

"Or perhaps in Slytherin,
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folks use any means,
To achieve their ends."
 - J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Being a Lab, one would think Bobby would be sorted into Hufflepuff. After all, Labs are known to be people pleasers who work hard and play hard, friendly, patient and tolerant to all. Whilst Bobby loves people, he is also a rather good fit for Slytherin, perhaps even, too good.

Whilst he is probably intelligent enough for Ravenclaw, he is also a rather devious troublemaker. Bobby enjoys pretending that he has not been fed by parading his bowl around in hopes of scoring second dinners (may or may not have worked before), insisting on targeting the trainer's treat bag instead of focusing on the lure, stealthily pickpocketing, opening cupboards and counter-surfing when no one is watching amongst many other examples. He has an extreme amount of self-confidence, maybe even to the point that it borders on arrogance and strong nerves. Sounds like Gryffindor material, am I right?

Not so.

Throw him a bone and he'll probably throw us all under the bus.

For Halloween, we decided to make him a Slytherin robe and tie. Unfortunately despite hours of hard work, Bobby doesn't appreciate the effort and refuses to wear it.

Oh well.
